O2 - Manual for Ecotourism Promotion

The “Manual for Ecotourism Promotion” analyses important aspects regarding the characteristics of ecotourists behaviour and provide solutions that marketers can apply to stimulate the consumption of ecotourism, based on our project’s previous study about ecotourism development.

O1 - Study on Ecotourism Development

The “Study on Ecotourism Development” is the result of the research, that made from the project consortium, which aimed to detect the degree of knowledge of ecotourism, and implied a new mentality and a greater awareness of environmental issues.


Moreover, this Study analyses the chapters below:

  • CHAPTER I – (Eco)tourism development policies at local/regional/national/European level.
  • CHAPTER II – Trends on the (eco)tourism labor market
  • CHAPTER III – (Eco)tourism development analysis in partner countries (based on survey of each country)
  • CHAPTER IV – Final conclusions


Finally, this study reflects the important issues about the encouragement patterns of sustainability of ecotourism, which can benefit local communities, protect the environment, and be economically viable.
